(5) In the event of any currents over 1 knot existing, float observations should be made on ebb and flood in the vicinity of the

proposed works, the state of the tide at each observation being

carefully noted.

(6) All information as regards places from which stone for concre te can be obtained, and the cost of quarrying and transporting stone from quarries.

(7) Similar information as regarde good, clean sharp sand.

Site from which good material can be obtained for backing walls. Information as regards any sites which could be used for workyard or blockyard, should the latter be required.

(10) Any information with reference to the supply of fresh

water for the works, and after their construction.

(11) Any information as regards local timber which might be used

for temporary purposes.

(12) Whether any electrical power is awilable which could be used

during the construction of the works, and what the cost per unit of

such power would be.

previous to the visit of our partner, Sir Maurice Fitzmaurice, any further information which may be required can be obtained in a very

short time.
